ABOUT US

Sheryl Morris

I was born in Wellington and raised in Auckland from the age of four and have had a rather exciting and fun career path originating in the music industry recording, developing and promoting New Zealand songwriters, artists and musicians for many years.

  • Following this I segued into broadcasting in radio, film and television working both in front of and behind the camera and for several years owned and ran a talent agency. It was in this period that I met Sasha who was also running a talent agency and at one point booked me for several roles in film and advertising. In 2010 I joined her to work for her very busy and thriving dating agency and have been there ever since. My work includes deciphering her very unique hand writing style and building profiles, meeting clients during busy periods, the weekly correspondence of matches and updates to clients, and of course the normal day to day admin. The work is incredibly interesting and varied and has provided a wonderful insight into the aspirations and attitudes of some very inspiring people. Sasha remains not only a close and life long friend but a very focused, energetic, enthusiastic and fabulous woman to work for.

Born and bred in Auckland, I founded Two’s Company in 2003, following seven exciting years running a talent agency. Back then, I spent my days placing people in film, television, and photographic work, and occasionally fielding calls from hopefuls trying to reconnect with someone they met on set! I still laugh remembering my boss shouting, “This is not a dating agency!”

  • Little did I know, that idea would stick.

Starting my own business had always been a dream, one that felt natural, especially with my father’s background as a restauranteur and hotelier. Hospitality and people focused work run in the blood, and launching a dating service felt like the perfect next chapter.

From day one, Two’s Company struck a chord. Clients loved having a more personal, thoughtful alternative to the usual options. I remember when classified ads in the NZ Herald were still the norm, we were offering something refreshingly different.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about tennis (completely addicted, really) and love to ski when I can. My husband Greg and I are big fans of cooking and entertaining, but nothing beats time away with Greg and our two boys, weekends at the beach, boating, fishing, or simply exploring the underwater world.

I believe great relationships start with real connection and we’re here to help you find it.
